Video captures vehicle crash along Camps Bay strip – WATCH

A TikTok video of yet another accident in Camps Bay – this time at the intersection of Camps Bay Drive and Geneva Drive – has gone viral.

At the time of publishing, the clip, uploaded by user ik804wp, has 3 706 likes and 308 comments.

The incident was as a result of a collision involving a truck transporting non-potable water and several vehicles on Monday, 6 January.

Peter Flentov shared images of the incident on The Atlantic Seaboard Community Forum Facebook group, and locals were quick to weigh in with their concerns.

This latest accident raised growing concerns about road safety in the Camps Bay area, with numerous residents calling for stricter traffic enforcement at problem intersections.

Meanwhile, as reported by The South African website, another notorious road for accidents in Cape Town, Kloof Nek Road, recently saw yet another accident.

This time, a tour bus drove into the fence of an apartment complex.

That accident came less than three weeks after a cement truck lost control on Kloof Nek Road, crashing into 17 vehicles, as reported by The South African website.

The truck, having lost its brakes, sped into oncoming traffic to avoid rear-ending cars in its lane, but after hitting a Kia, it crashed into a line of parked vehicles.
