Athol Trollip delivers Nelson Mandela Bay victory speech in fluent Xhosa [video]

After some kerfuffle over dumped marked ballots found at a counting centre in Nelson Mandela Bay, the ANC eventually conceded defeat.

The Democratic Alliance claimed the victory last night while the IEC officially finished counting by mid-day on Friday with the DA  taking 46.5% of the vote compared to the ANC’s 41.6%. Coalition talks will now begin, but mayoral candidate Trollip was boisterous in his victory speech.
