The impending deadline for NSFAS 2024 applications on 31 January heightens the urgency for applicants to complete the process before the portal closes. As of last week, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) reported an impressive 1 545 822 applications for the upcoming 2024 academic year, with expectations of more submissions before the application cycle concludes on 31 January. Blade Nzimande, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, addressed the media, reassuring about the Department’s readiness for the 2024 PSET academic year opening.
