A decade-long upward trend in African citizens’ demand for democracy has ended with a downward turn since 2012, according to a new Afrobarometer analysis.
The survey shows that South Africans are tolerant of different religions, ethnicity, people living with HIV/AIDS and homosexuality, but it scored low when it comes to migrant workers.
