‘Terminate his contract’: Man United fans react to Ronaldo outburst
Manchester United fans throw support behind Erik ten Hag, saying Ronaldo’s ego has ruined his legacy at the club following his latest rant.
The overwhelming majority of Manchester United fans have thrown their support behind Erik ten Hag, saying Cristiano Ronaldo’s ego has ruined his legacy at the club following his latest rant.
The 37-year-old forward has tongues wagging after giving a bombshell interview to media personality Piers Morgan, in which he claims he has been betrayed by the club.
The player also goes on to admit he has no respect for current club boss Ten Hag, takes a swipe for former United teammate Wayne Rooney and declares Man United have made ‘zero’ progress since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s outburst is the latest in a long line of indiscretions since rejoining the club in 2021.
So far during his turbulent second stint at Manchester United, he has actively tried to manufacture a move by courting other clubs across Europe without handing in an official transfer request; he refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham and eventually walked off the bench and left the stadium before the game had finished.
Ten Hag then proceeded to punish CR7, as he is known, by dropping him from the squad for the team’s next game and also forced him train in isolation and then with the U21s as punishment.
The player has since been reintegrated into the team and was even named to captain the side just last week in the Premier League game against Aston Villa. It seemed that the player had worked out his differences with Ten Hag. But this latest verbal attack on Ten Hag and the club proves otherwise.
