With World Cup 2022 in Qatar just nine days away, African great Samuel Eto’o has made a bold prediction about the final.

World Cup 2022 in Qatar is just nine days away, and an African great has has had his say.

The Qatar World Cup will be Cameroon’s eighth appearance at the tournament and marks a return to the global stage after missing out on a place in Russia four years ago.

Cameroon’s latest squad and key names

Cameroon’s most recent international squad contained Inter Milan’s Andre Onana who is their No 1 goalkeeper, Napoli’s Andre-Frank Anguissa in midfield and captain Vincent Aboubakar who has experience of top-flight football in Portugal, Turkey and France. Brentford’s France-born striker Bryan Mbeumo has recently switched his nationality, picking up his first Cameroon cap in September.
