Kaizer Chiefs fans are urging the club to strengthen their attacking department following a 2-2 draw with Royal AM.

Despite a promising start to the season, Amakhosi have struggled to find consistency in the Betway Premiership. Their two losses against Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United have caused them to fall behind rivals Orlando Pirates.

Unnecessary draws against Royal AM and Magesi FC have not improved the situation. After seven league matches, Kaizer Chiefs have only secured three wins, which has disappointed many fans. Having been eliminated from the Carling KnockOut Cup, Amakhosi now only have the Nedbank Cup to compete for. The Soweto giants have not won silverware in ten years and are likely to finish this current season empty-handed.

Kaizer Chiefs fans want fresh blood upfront

Fans have called on coach Nasreddine Nabi to bring in strikers to help improve goal-scoring. During the preseason, Chiefs primarily acquired defenders, yet they have conceded nine goals in the league so far. Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro has not won over fans despite scoring three goals already. The former Marumo Gallants star has missed several key opportunities that could have helped secure more victories for Amakhosi.

Another attacker whom fans want to see leave is Christian Saile. The Congolese forward has yet to score this season and may leave the club by the end of the season.
