R 216 000 salary offer for Kaizer Chiefs target
Kaizer Chiefs are widely reported as admirers of the Tanzanian international midfidler Feisal Salum. Here’s the latest.
Kaizer Chiefs are known to be chasing Feisal Salum’s signature from Azam FC in Tanzania. The latest report claims that the midfielder has been offered a new deal.
REPORTS: AZAM FC OFFER FEISAL SALUM A NEW DEAL
Having worked with Kaizer Chiefs Nasreddine Nabi and his assistant Cedric Kaze at Young Africans in Tanzania, the 26-year-old midfielder is rated as one of the best midfielders in Africa.
According to the Citizen, his current club Azam have offered Solum a new deal that includes a reported salary of R216 000, a figure Kaizer Chiefs can easily match and improve.
“Feisal is an important player for Azam and they don’t want to lose him. They will offer him a new and improved contract that will make him one of the highest paid players in the Tanzanian Premier League,” said the source.
The outlet added to claim: “It is believed that his new salary will be in the region of $12 000 (just over R216 000), but Chiefs can easily match or top this amount so it remains to be seen if Salum will accept this offer or if he will join Amakhosi or Simba in January,” the Citizen concluded.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs are also linked with two other midfielders.
