PSL transfer news: Saleng, Mshishi, Serero, Appollis
The transfer window might be closed but expect another of top PSL players to make bold moves in the coming months.

Despite the PSL transfer window closing in January, there are still many players whose futures remain undecided.
Big teams such as Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and Kaizer Chiefs have made signings this season, with Amakhosi being the biggest spenders as they seek to return to their glory days. We take a look at some PSL players who might make a move in the next transfer window.
Oswin Appollis
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from Polokwane City since the start of the season. Chiefs have shown interest, but after signing Makabi Lilepo, the Soweto giants might halt their pursuit.
Monnapule Saleng
The Orlando Pirates winger has not played a match since early December. Both the club and the player’s agent have declined to comment on Saleng’s situation.
PSL transfer widow closed but expect more signings
Themba ‘Mshishi’ Zwane
Zwane could be on the move if Sundowns do not extend his contract, which expires in June. Teams like Pirates and Chiefs are undoubtedly monitoring his situation, and he could sign a pre-contract with one of the Soweto giants if he is not part of Miguel Cardoso’s plans.
Thulani Serero
Serero has not played in the PSL for 13 years, but he is eligible to sign as a free agent even after the transfer period ended last month. The 34-year-old has been training under the watchful eye of interim head coach Muhsin Ertugral and his technical team, and he looks set to reunite with his former boss, John Comitis. Serero could join Cape Town City in the next few weeks.
