New Kaizer Chiefs signing trains with his new teammates
Exciting times.

Gavin Hunt has confirmed that Tashreeq Morris will join Kaizer Chiefs. He’s even been training with his new teammates and signed a deal
Morris trains at Naturena
According to KickOff, Tashreeq Morris’s deal with Chiefs is signed and sealed. Former Chiefs boss Gavin Hunt has confirmed it.
“Yeah, he just came in two months ago. Well, for us, you know, obviously it’s a blow, but you know, it’s a great opportunity for him (Going to Chiefs). And you know, I mean, how many players [have left us]? Financially [the move] will help him [Morris], so it is a no-brainer for the boy, so what can I do?”
“Tashreeq Morris is at Chiefs. He signed over the weekend, and I believe he has already started training.”
Is Thabo Cele going to sign with Kaizer Chiefs?
27-year-old Thabo Cele only has five South African caps under his belt after making a debut in 2017 under former Chiefs boss Stuart Baxter. He’s now available for free and can sign for SA sides until the end of June. Whether Chiefs act on that option is another issue.
“Due to serious health problems in the family, the midfielder and the club terminated the contract. According to the agreement between Cele and the club, the footballer will only be able to play for teams from South Africa until the end of the current contract. We wish the player good luck in his future career, and health to Cele’s family. All the best to you, Thabo!” Fakel wrote in a statement.

Fans sound apprehensive about Nedbank Cup clash with Free Agents
Chiefs will fancy their chances of making the next round of the Nedbank Cup after drawing Gauteng ABC Motsepe League outfit Free Agents. However, you can never say never in football, as some of their fans have reminded us:
“My team Chiefs is already out, y’all know we struggled over the years ngalama-small teams.”
“Starting Jan 26 I want to see new players donning KCFC jerseys on the field at FNB. Tired of being a laughing stock.”
Chiefs vs Free Agents kicks off on Sunday 26 January at 18:00. New man Morris suspended and won’t be available.
