According to the Premier Soccer League, the Betway Premiership will take a back seat this weekend. The 2025 Nedbank Cup kicks off on Friday and runs until the final match next Wednesday. The defending champions, Orlando Pirates, play on Sunday away to Richards Bay. The game will be at the King Zwelithi Stadium at 15:00.

According to Soccer Laduma, Amakhosi are targeting TS Galaxy’s 21-year-old left-back Kabini, a former Orlando Pirates development player. “Interest has been shown in Samukelo Kabini by Kaizer Chiefs,” the report said. “There have been talks about it, although there isn’t anything official at the moment. But Kabini could be the next player from TS Galaxy to leave after Thato Khiba’s move to Stellenbosch,” the source concluded.
ROYAL AM VS ORLANDO PIRATES CANCELLED
Following Relebohile Mofokeng and Tshegofatso Mabasa’s goals in the 2-1 win over Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League, the Sea Robbers were meant to travel to Pietermaritzburg to face Royal AM at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Thursday. Due to Royal AM’s ongoing financial woes, the PSL has called off all the club’s fixtures until further notice.
