Tumisang Orebonye’s potential Move
Recent reports have indicated that Botswana international striker Tumisang Orebonye could be on the verge of joining Kaizer Chiefs. This is if he follows Nabi’s footsteps from AS FAR Rabat. Sources close to the club have disclosed that Orebonye, who joined AS FAR earlier this year from Algerian side USM Alger, is nearing the end of his contract. Which could potentially make him available as a free agent for Chiefs.
“It was Nabi who initially brought Orebonye to AS FAR, and he holds him in high regard,” revealed a Soccer Laduma source familiar with the negotiations. “There’s a strong possibility that Orebonye will join Chiefs on a free transfer, given his short-term contract in Morocco.”

Tumisang Orebonye is lauded for his commanding presence on the field. As well as his innate ability to find the back of the net. Which has drawn comparisons to renowned striker Christian Benteke of Belgium. Who has became famous for stints at Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Crystal Palace. Known for his physicality and goal-scoring prowess, Orebonye could provide the attacking prowess that Kaizer Chiefs are seeking to bolster their frontline.
“He’s a formidable striker, although there have been occasional concerns about his conduct off the pitch,” the source commented. “His playing style mirrors that of Benteke, making him a potentially game-changing addition if Chiefs finalize the deal.”
