‘My colleague Rulani said it’ – Nabi on Morocco league being tougher than PSL
Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi suggests that the Botola Pro 1 (Moroccan league) might be superior to the PSL.

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi suggests that the Moroccan league (Botola Pro) might be slightly tougher than the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
The Tunisian coach claims that ex-Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena felt the Botola Pro League was tactically and technically superior to the PSL.
“The two leagues, Morocco and South Africa, are different, even my colleague Rulani Mokwena said that he feels that the Moroccan league is a little bit tougher and a little bit technical and tactical,” Nabi said after Chiefs’ 1-0 win over Magesi on Tuesday.
This is Nabi’s first season in the PSL and has improved Amakhosi slightly compared to last season. The Soweto giants are eighth on the log after two matches so far this season in the league.
“We are creating opportunities, big clubs like Kaizer Chiefs need to have big players and we work every day to try to score more goals,” Nabi said after Tuesday’s win.
“We are trying to work on the players that we have, improve them in terms of finishing, creating opportunities, and scoring. And we believe we will get there.
“For an example, sometimes we dominate the game, but because of the profile of the players that we have (we can’t score).

“For example, a player like Dove playing a left-back, the qualities that he brings are different from someone that could go all the way to make crosses.
“That’s why we need to adjust the team and adjust how we play.”
Before coming to the PSL, Nabi attained success in Tanzania and Morocco. The 59-year-old is yet to lift a silverware in South Africa after eight months.
