Kaizer Chiefs will return for a marquee target in June after it was revealed he has offered a contract extension.

Salum wants to leave Tanzania

Attacking midfielder Feisal Salum will not be extending his contract with Azam FC in his homeland. The goal-scoring schemer has been persistently linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.

“Feisal Salum has made his decision and informed the club that he will not extend his contract,” Africafoot.com confirmed.

“He is enjoying his experience at Azam, a big club, but he wants to explore new opportunities at the end of the season,

“A move to Kaizer Chiefs? It is still too early to say for sure, but it is a very serious possibility.”

Salum is commanding big money

Tanzanian international midfield star Feisal Salum is commanding a massive new pay rise with his current club Azam FC. Simba SC and Kaizer Chiefs are both lurking with considerable intent. According to The Citizen, Amakhosi have the funds to out-bid Azam and offer him improved terms. However, Chiefs face a tough stage of negotiations if they want to lure the midfielder away from his homeland. The attacking midfield maestro scored 19 goals last term.

Lucky charm for Kaizer Chiefs revealed

Chiefs have won each of their last three Betway Premiership visits to Stellenbosch. For all of their recent struggles, they just seem to have the Cape Winelands side’s number. New boy Glody Lilepo was the only scorer on Friday night as the Glamour Boys claimed a slender win over Stellies, while the R9.6 million Congolese star was instrumental in Chiefs’ second equalizer. His far post header was bundled into his net by Usuthu’s keeper Richard Ofori. Amakhosi fans will be thinking “Why can’t we play at this stadium every week?”
