KAIZER CHIEFS TARGET MICHAEL OLUNGA IN SCORING FORM

As reported across local media over the past three months, Amakhosi are keen on signing Olunga in the upcoming June transfer window. To inspire Kaizer Chiefs further, Olunga grabbed his 11th goal of the season in 16 appearances as Duhail defeated Al Shahaniya SC 2-1 in the Qatar Stars League last Friday.

BRIAN BALOYI RATES NEW KAIZER CHIEFS SIGNINGS

Kaizer Chiefs legend Brian Baloyi will probably motivate this player to prove him wrong. “I’m not sure about [Tashreeq] Morris, I’m still not convinced yet. Of all the [January] signings, Morris is the downfall,” Baloyi told FARPost. “I haven’t seen enough that I can say he’s a good signing for Chiefs. But hopefully, he can turn around the corner and start scoring; at least he’s getting game time.

“So far, other new players have been adjusting well to the team. Cele is playing well in the midfield, showing signs that he’s a good signing for Chiefs. “Lilepo, as well. In the attack, he brought something to the team. He’s scoring goals and creating opportunities for the team,” added the former Chiefs goalkeeper.

SIYABONGA NOMVETHE ON ITUMELENG KHUNE

Kaizer Chiefs legend Siyabonga Nomvethe has terrorised all but one goalkeeper in Mzansi.

“There are many, but the only one goalkeeper that I didn’t exactly hit properly, one who had some serious luck is [Itumeleng] Khune,” Nomvethe told iDiski Times. “Khune is the only one I haven’t hit properly. He is the only one; the rest I have hit them properly (chuckles). I’d look then and think this was one. Once I get the ball, he is going to leak in goals.”
