Kaizer Chiefs Transfer News: Three Midfielders
Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs are focused on creating depth in the center of midfield before next season kicks off.

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly targeting two numbers 8s and a 6 for next season.
KAIZER CHIEFS’ MIDFIELD TARGETS
Feisal Salum
Is it finally happening for Kaizer Chiefs? This latest report suggests that Amakhosi are set to land a big target for mahala. The Glamour Boys have been known to be very keen to sign Feisal Salum from Azam FC in Tanzania.
According to Soccer Laduma, the 27-year-old Amakhosi target rejected a new deal from Azam, while his contract is set to expire in June. The situation leaves Kaizer Chiefs with an opportunity to conclude a free transfer at the end of the season. “If nothing happens regarding his contract between now and June then Chiefs could sign him as a free agent,” an insider told the outlet. “He is believed to have rejected the offer to extend his contract at Azam and we know he is interested to join coach Nabi. So, if Chiefs still want him they could sign him for free this time around.
“There is still a possibility of Feisal (Salum) for next season but it will depend on the other players that the club is looking at in those positions. You know, there is still a lot of time between now and the end of the season, and a lot can still happen. But yes, if he doesn’t renew his contract and the team wants to sign him, then he will obviously join as a free agent,” an additional source said.
TWO BAFANA BAFANA MIDFIELDERS
Additionally, Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly chasing not one but two central midfielders we have seen wearing Bafana Bafana colours.
SPHEPHELO SITHOLE
There’s a well-trusted and respected source on X who is an insider at Naturena. He is known as Khabazela. He earned his solid reputation after reporting the signings of every new player at Kaizer Chiefs this season, and ahead of the leading journalists in Mzansi. According to his latest report, Amakhosi have set sights on Bafana’s 25-year-old midfielder Sphephelo Sithole, who plays his football for Gil Vincente in the Portuguese top division. Khabazela said the Durban-born star is keen on returning home to South Africa, and Kaizer Chiefs are making the first move.
LUKE LE ROUX
According to the same source, Amakhosi are keen to sign the 24-year-old Värnamo star in Sweden but his agent is motivated to send the player to Mamelodi Sundowns.
In the meantime, Le Loux is expected to earn another Bafana call-up next month after captaining his team in the 3-2 win over Degerfors last week.
