Kaizer Chiefs transfer: Amakhosi to lose out on another big target?
Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly been eyeing Tanzanian midfielder Feisal Salum for some time but are yet to make an offer.
Kaizer Chiefs may lose another target in the coming weeks if they don’t act quickly.
Azam midfielder Feisal Salum has been linked with the Soweto giants for several months; however, it seems that no official offer has been made for this talented player. It is believed that Amakhosi’s new assistant coach, Kaze, has shifted the club’s focus towards the Tanzanian midfielder Feisal Salum.
Reports indicate that Kaizer Chiefs were interested in bringing Salum to Naturena in January. “There could be more changes in the squad at Chiefs in January,” an inside told Soccer Laduma.
“You know the Tanzanian midfielder that Mamelodi Sundowns have been following, Feisal Salum? Kaizer are now after him.
“If Chiefs are to get him, Fiston Mayele and Oswin Appollis will have to go beyond their budget,” an insider disclosed.
Kaizer Chiefs might lose out on another target
Azam spokesperson Hashim Ibwe told FARPost that no contact was made by Chiefs or any other club for the midfielder.
“We can confirm that there have been no discussions between Kaizer Chiefs or any club and Azam FC regarding Feisal Salum,” Ibwe told FARPost. “He remains under contract with Azam FC and respects the club, which we appreciate.”
