Kaizer Chiefs starting XI: Nabi rings the changes!
Nasreddine Nabi has just named Kaizer Chiefs’ starting XI and he has made some big changes across the park. Check it out!
Kaizer Chiefs official starting XI has been named to take on Richards Bay in the Betway Premiership.
Kaizer Chiefs have made some big changes.
Fiacre Ntwari, is out with an injury picked up during the international break. Furthermore, Inagio Miguel is suspended. Therefore, these two replacements were enforced due to both players not being available for selection. Additionally, a couple of big tactical changes have been made by Nabi.
BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR AMAKHOSI STARS
Brandon Peterson steps into goal for the injured Ntwari.
Whilst, Given Msimango is the man tasked with replacing Miguel at centre back. Meanwhile, Pule Mmodi, Ox get rare starts.
So, for all of these men there is plenty to play for. Peterson will want to show he still has what it takes having watched Ntwari in goal all season under Nabi. Moreover, Ntwari has come under heavy criticism so this is a golden opportunity for Peterson to retake his claim to start in goal.
Whereas, Msimango has played second fiddle to Miguel all season. So, his suspension could be a blessing in disguise for Msimango who has struggled for game time this season.
In the midfield, ‘Ox‘ gets his first start this season under Nabi. Therefore, he to will want to prove he is still good enough to play for Chiefs. Especially, following rumours linking Mthethwa with an exit. Also, with Edson Castillo sidelined long-term (4-5 months out), this is a great oppurtunity for ‘Ox‘.
Finally, Mmodi makes a return having been sidelined for months and Du Preez replaces Chivaviro in a key tactical change. Hopefully, it will be the key to unlocking Amakhosi’s attack.
