Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Daniel Cardoso is ready to join arch rivals Orlando Pirates, claiming football is ‘business’!
A recently sacked Kaizer Chiefs defender has confirmed that nothing will stop him from joining Orlando Pirates should they make an approach for his services.
Amakhosi defender Daniel Cardoso was one of 10 players sacked at Naturena.

Cardoso confirmed, if the opportunity comes his way, it’s simply ‘business’.

“Yeah, of course I would join Orlando Pirates. I mean football is a business now,” the axed Kaizer Chiefs defender told MarawaSportsWorldwide.
“Also, it would also give me another opportunity to be in the Soweto Derby. It’s the biggest game in the country, it’s one of the biggest derbies around the world.
“If they acquire my services I’ll definitely be open to it. I have seen Brilliant Khuzwayo, he went from Kaizer Chiefs.
“There’s been many players that have played for both the teams. I’ll definitely consider it. If the opportunity comes knocking on the door I won’t turn it down.”
“I want to win trophies. I have been at SuperSport for four years, and now we have lots of young players, and we are trying,” the Kaizer Chiefs target told SoccerLaduma.

In other transfer news Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly made a major breakthrough in the race for Yusuf Maart’s signature.
