Kaizer Chiefs are continuing their processing of restructuring ahead of next season, with incoming and outgoings.

So far, Chiefs have a balanced transfer spreadsheet, with five in and five out as they prepare for the new campaign.

Chiefs restructuring squad

Chiefs confirmed their decision to part ways with Keagan Dolly, Sifiso Hlanti, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo and Jasond Gonzalez. Amakhosi then went ahead to add to their squad having signed four in defence in Inacio MiguelBongani Sam, Fiacre Ntwari and Rushwin Dortley to boost their defence. With all of them officially unveiled by Amakhosi. Sam is the only one of the four who joined early enough to go to Turkey with the squad.

Gaston Sirino, who joins as a free agent from Mamelodi Sundowns, remains their only attacking signing so far. It’s believed Chiefs could be braced for some high profile exits with the most talked about being Ashley du Preez. But now according to Soccer-Laduma, he is not the only top profile player that could leave. It is believed that Russian side Spartak Moscow are interested in signing centre-back Given Msimango!

“That’s true. The interest has been there but when Given (Msimango) moved from Galaxy to Chiefs it went a bit quite. Only now after the team returned back from Turkey is when things came up again. At the moment I can just tell you that it’s Spartak Moscow but most details are in the office and they are the ones looking at it. But personally I don’t think it could happen this season unless the money is too good. They wouldn’t want to disturb what the coach is building already at this stage. But again this is football and anything is possible. Let’s wait and see, but yes, it’s Spartak Moscow,” said the source.

Should they sell Msimango to Spartak Moscow?

Well with that said, it looks like Msimango will have to park his European football for at least another season. Chiefs fans are you happy to keep him? Or should you cash in from the interest of Spartak Moscow? Feel free to leave your comments below!
