Kaizer Chiefs are closing in on a couple of big deals as the commencement of the January transfer window draws near.

Kaizer Chiefs are planning some big moves this transfer window.

Especially, up front with not one but two attackers close to joining Amakhosi.

CHIEFS MAKE R9.6 MILLION OFFER FOR INTERNATIONAL STAR

Chiefs recently launched a R9.6 million offer for DR Congo striker, Glody Lilepo.

“In a dramatic turn of event, Valenciennes’ player of the month for December, Glody Lilepo, is being pushed towards the exit by his current club, who are eager to sell the Congolese midfielder to Kaizer Chiefs,” SoccerLaduma reported.

However, despite this offer he was initially reluctant to join the PSL.

“The French Ligue 2 club has a firm offer on the table worth €500 000 (+- R9.6 million), but Lilepo, despite the financial incentives, is reluctant to make the move to the PSL,” they added.

POSITIVE TURN OF EVENTS FOR AMAKHOSI

Thankfully, 24 hours later there has been a huge change.

Now, Lilepo is reportedly keen to join Chiefs having agreed to a deal on personal terms, according to SoccerLaduma.

Meaning, if Amakhosi management and Valenciennes can agree on terms, he will join Chiefs this January. Meanwhile, Amakhosi are in hot pursuit of several attackers.

For starters, Tashreeq Morris is set to undergo medicals this week. This, following a proposed swop deal from Gavin Hunt’s SuperSport United for Christian Saile. Moreover, Chiefs are still interested in signing Bafana Bafana attacker Oswin Appollis.

SHOULD CHIEFS INVEST R10 MILLION IN TRYING TO LURE LILEPO TO NATURENA? CAN THEY GET MORE VALUE FOR THEIR MONEY WITH ANOTHER STAR?
