Kaizer Chiefs get green light for blockbuster deal
Kaizer Chiefs received some welcomed news regarding one of their priority targets. This would be a huge addition.

Kaizer Chiefs’ long-term target Feisal Salum has Azam FC’s blessing to move this offseason after rejecting a contract extension with the Tanzanian giants.
“We expect Feisal to deliver results because we are paying him a lot of money. However, if he decides to leave, that will be his choice. We are not stopping him from leaving,” Thabit Zacharia, Azam’s spokeperson, said.
“We have no plans to let Feisal go. But if a team makes an offer that meets our expectations, we will not stand in his way. However, as of now, we have not received any offers from any club.”
AmaKhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi has fond memories with Salum, winning the Tanzanian Premier League in successive seasons between 2021 and 2023. Kaizer Chiefs have been heavily linked with the midfielder since the Tunisian’s arrival.
The Soweto giants, who haven’t had a better chance to secure the 27-year-old, could make their move in the winter, but will undoubtedly face fierce competition.
Striker wanted
Another player Kaizer Chiefs could pursue is Congolese forward Andy Boyeli, who is enjoying a prolific debut season with Sekhukhune United. However, like Salum, the Soweto giants are not the only ones monitoring the former Power Dynamos threat.
“Even before joining Sekhukhune United there were teams interested in him both in South Africa and North Africa as well. Now, there is new interest from North Africa,” the publication confirmed.
“The club has followed his progress since joining Sekhukhune and they are happy and impressed with what they have seen in him.”
Will Salum benefit Kaizer Chiefs?
