Kaizer Chiefs offered no-name brand Ghanaian striker
Who’s this guy?
Kaizer Chiefs might be getting desperate in their search for a striker. Here’s the latest news involving an obscure Ghanaian star.
Kaizer Chiefs turn to unknown Ghanaian striker
Soccer-Laduma is reporting that Chiefs have been offered the chance to sign Ghanaian marksman Jonathan Sowah.
“For now, they are not sure which striker they are getting or not. It is a kind of hide-and-seek. And not they are monitoring and enquiring about Jonathan (Sowah). There are several players – mainly strikers that the club is looking at. It has its priority according to what the coach wants but some of those top on the list are out of reach due to finances and that’s why they have to look at different alternatives and Jonathan has come up right now.
“Each team has scouts who identify players according to your needs at that particular time and that’s why they have offered Jonathan Sowah to Chiefs because the club needs a striker who can help them score goals. They have discovered that they can create chances but the main problem is finishing and this is one striker the scouts believe can help in that department, hence they have recommended him to the club,”
Who is Jonathan Sowah?
Lybian side Al-Nasr Benghazi has been home to Ghanaian striker Jonathan Sowah since January 2024. The 24-year-old was previously with Danbort FC and Medeama in Ghana. Sowah has scored three times in eight career Caf Champions League appearances.
