GLAMOUR BOYS FACE GOALKEEPING DILEMMA

Itumeleng Khune, a bona fide club legend and current skipper, will remain at Naturena for another year after signing his final deal as a player. However, Brandon Petersen isn’t a legitimate long-term replacement for Khune between the sticks, and Itu is beyond his best and not capable of playing a string of games in the first team anymore. To bring things into even sharper focus, Petersen made a glaring error against Sundowns which directly lead to Neo Maema’s late winner. Molefi Ntseki has some tough calls to make.

MTN8 QUARTER-FINALS ON THE HORIZON

After their midweek defeat to the Brazilians, Kaizer Chiefs now shift their focus to MTN8 quarter-final action. They face Cape Town City on Sunday in Athlone at 3pm still with fresh memories of their defeat to the Citizens on the final day of the 2022-23 DStv Premiership season.
