KAIZER CHIEFS TRANSFER OF THE DAY
Today’s featured transfer is a player who had a unique career at the Glamour Boys, much similar to Gerald Sibeko.
David Mathebula had the technical skills and talent as a midfielder but never became a consistent regular, yet he stayed quite a long time at Amakhosi.

He was clearly valued as a character and professional as he went on to stay seven years at Naturena.
Mathebula, known as ‘DVD,’ became a Glamour Boy in 2004 from Dynamos aged 20.

TROPHIES AND POST AMAKKHOSI
The star from Ka-Bungeni, Limpopo lifted the SAA Supa 8, Absa Cup and Coca Cola Cup before leaving Naturena to places like Black Aces, Swallows FC and SuperSport United.
Like a legendary Glamour Boy, Mathebula cut his teeth as a notably intelligent, hard-working, and intuitive coach at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila. It did not take too long before he was appointed at Amakhosi as an U19 coach this season.
