KAIZER CHIEFS TRANSFER OF THE DAY
Today’s featured transfer is a man who began at the famous Transnet School of Excellence before later moving to Naturena as a junior.
He was soon promoted from Amakhosi’s reserve team in the year 2000/1 when he was aged 22. The name is Gerald Sibeko. He played his football as a central midfielder.
While Sibeko did not exactly enjoy a storming career in Chiefs’ midfielder, he became a legend for staying at Amakhosi for 11 years where he was an exemplary professional with model discipline off the pitch.
