Bafana Bafana is not the only option this weekend. Kaizer Chiefs legends will take on their Orlando Pirates counterparts on Saturday.

It’s been a while since we watched any football. Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates supporters in Mpumalanga have something to taste this weekend.

KAIZER CHIEFS VS ORLANDO PIRATES LEGENDS

As revealed by Amakhosi via social media on Friday, the two clubs’ legends will entertain fans in Witbank, Mpumalanga on Saturday at 15:00.

According to the report, the match will mark a 12-year celebration for Masemanzi Mining Holdings.

AMAKHOSI SQUAD CONFIRMED

Brian Baloyi, Rowen Fernandez, Cyril Nzama, Nhlanhla Kubeka, Tsepo Masilela, Morgan Gould, Derrick Spencer, Siyabonga Nkosi, Stanton Fredericks, Jabu (Pule) Mahlangu, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Mandla Masango, Josta Dladla, Frank Makua, David Radebe, Siyabonga Nomvethe.

Coaches – Thabo Mooki , Doctor Khumalo.

*Pirates squad is yet to be released.

AMAKHOSI PLAYERS IN LINE FOR BAFANA BAFANA MINUTES

Meanwhile, a couple of Chiefs players could represent Bafana Bafana on Friday night.

Following another disappointing result in the 1-0 loss to Cape Town City, five Amakhosi players have driven out of the Naturena gates for two weeks, with two joining the Bafana Bafana camp.

As confirmed by Chiefs, Sibongiseni Mthethwa and Mduduzi Mdantsane have left for national duty.

Hugo Broos’ men will take on Eswatini this evening at 18:00 at the FNB Stadium before a friendly trip to Ivory Coast next Tuesday.

KAIZER CHIEFS IN THE CARLING KNOCKOUT

Meanwhile, Chiefs have confirmed their opponents in the brand-new Carling Knockout Cup, and it will be AmaZulu at home (date and venues to be confirmed).
