KAIZER CHIEFS IN 2021/22 – FIVE THINGS WE’VE SEEN SO FAR
- Goalkeeper – It’s clear Zwane doesn’t know his number one yet. Indecision? Itumeleng Khune, Brandon Peterson, and Bruce Bvuma have shared the gloves.
- Edmilson Dove – The Mozambican star has become the shoo-in central defender pick, while Zitha Kwinika and Njabulo Ngcobo remain fighting for the other shirt.
- Njabulo Blom – The 23-year-old star has grabbed and owned the number 6 role, while Yusuf Maart has moved up to number 8
- Kgaogelo Sekgota – The Seshego-born winger had a breakthrough and became somewhat of a fan-favourite but still frustrated a section of the fanbase with his one-dimensional game
- The squad overhaul and new signings led to famously massive crowds in stadiums, including an improvement at the FNB Stadium.
