KAIZER CHIEFS ANNOUNCE CAVIN JOHNSON

After 13 games in charge, Ntseki lost his job after just three wins, four draws and six defeats.

The announcement was made after last weekend’s Carling Knockout last 16 defeat to Amazulu.

“Cavin Johnson will take over as the First Team coach on an interim basis,” the club said on Monday.

“Current assistant coach, Dillon Sheppard will retain his position under Johnson,” the statement concluded.

THE FIRST FIVE DSTV PREMIERSHIP FIXTURES

Johnson’s first Chiefs test will be a trip to Golden Arrows in Hammersdale this Saturday at 15:30, before two home games followed by another two on the road.

  1. Golden Arrows, away: 28 October
  2. Cape Town Spurs, home: 8 November
  3. Orlando Pirates, home: 11 November
  4. Moroka Swallows, away: 26 November
  5. Polokwane City, away: 9 December.
