Kaizer Chiefs to ditch star signing after just six appearances
Kaizer Chiefs are ready to wield the axe this January with a few player exits needed before they can dive back into the market.
Kaizer Chiefs signed 24-year-old Colombian Jasond Gonzalez in August on a season-long loan deal. However, his time at Naturena could already be drawing to a close.

JASOND FAILS TO IMPRESS
According to @AlexScoutRo on X, jasond Gonzalez is a target of Romanian giants FCSB. If he were to move to Bucharest, he’d link up with former Amakhosi defender Siyabonga Ngezana. Gonzalez has had an underwhelming time at Naturena, failing to score in his first six appearances for the club.
“Apparently, FCSB’s target this winter. A player I discovered and scouted in Bolivia very physical & mobile, limited in other respects,” the report said.

23-year-old Tashreeq Matthews, once of Borussia Dortmund, bagged two assists last night as Sirius beat Djurgardens in the Swedish Allsvenskan. Overall he has 10 goals and nine assists for Sirius in 29 appearances.
Club vice-captain Keagan Dolly signed a two-year deal in 2021 with an option for a further year. He is now in that extension year and a further extension looks unlikely. Former SA youth international Matthews is on their radar as a long-term replacement for the former Montpellier man according to Soccer-Laduma.
