Kaizer Chiefs coach opens up on third loss against Downs
Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has taken a stunning stance on the way his side have performed against Sundowns this season.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has opened up on his third successive loss against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Nabi has already faced the Brazilians on three occasions since joining the Amakhosi at the beginning of the season.
Unfortunately for the Tunisian tactician, his side have come out on the losing side all three times!
In their latest bout, Kaizer Chiefs travelled to the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday afternoon with the hope of pulling off an upset.
It however wasn’t to be following a moment of brilliance from Lucas Ribeiro Costa, whose solitary strike was the difference on the day.
We didn’t deserve to lose two of them – Kaizer Chiefs coach
“First of all congrats to Sundowns for the three points, I feel frustrated for my players, for the fans, for everyone supporting Kaizer Chiefs today,” – Nasreddine Nabi said as quoted by IDiski Times.
“If you compare the three game we played, the first game if it wasn’t for referee mistakes we don’t lose. The second match for the cup, it was a completely off day for us, we were outclassed in every way.
“We feel it was bad luck to lose today. After the performance, but we have to put the three games in context, it’s a team that hasn’t won a cup in ten years and a team who has won seven league titles in a row and top of African football and the other team in the process of building itself.”
In other related news, Kaizer Chiefs have secured the services of an important first team player for at least one more season.
The Glamour Boys already have one eye on next season, and while much of the focus will be on signing new players, it’s equally important for the club to retain their stars.
The club have reportedly reached an agreement with Edson Castillo to extend his contract at the club.
Castillo signs new contract at Chiefs
“I can confirm that Edson will stay for another season, he has renewed his contract with Chiefs and there is also an option to continue for another year,” his agent Mauricio Andrade told iDiski Times.
“Edson is very happy with his extension as it was his desire to continue with club for next years to come. He is committed to help the team win trophies.”
The Venezuelan is currently injured however, head coach Nasreddine Nabi made it clear previously that Castillo will be given a full chance to shine under him.
Nabi described Castillo as, “He’s a good man, he’s a gentleman, I respect him a lot,” to the same publication previously.
