Kaizer Chiefs closing in on shock new bargain signing
Kaizer Chiefs look set to take advantage of a rival club’s disastrous situation by signing their star man for next to nothing…

Kaizer Chiefs FC are set to bolster their attack with a player they’ve been tracking for some time now.
The Glamour Boys have enjoyed a hot-and-cold season under Nasreddine Nabi, and know they need to make some serious reinforcements in order to give the Tunisian coach a squad that can compete with Pirates and Sundowns.
According to the latest reports, Royal AM’s off-field problems could score Kaizer Chiefs a serious bargain!
Kaizer Chiefs to sign Thikazi from troubled Royal AM?
According to the latest transfer gossip, Kaizer Chiefs are closing in on the signing of 25-year-old winger Mfundo Thikazi from Royal AM.
“There are some players at Royal AM whose contracts are coming to an end in June and they are reluctant to sign new contracts because of the current situation,” an insider told Soccer Laduma.
“But with Mfundo (Thikazi) he is still contracted to Royal AM and Kaizer Chiefs have to buy him if they are interested in him. But I don’t think that will be a problem as I don’t think he will cost too much.”
Another source confirmed that Chiefs are indeed keen on signing Thikazi at the end of the season.

The sauce we are cooking is coming along – Nabi
While admitting the club have under-achieved for years, Nasreddine Nabi believes the glory days will soon return to Naturena.
“Step by step, step by step, we will come back. We go step by step, with no pressure, we work seriously and Kaizer Chiefs I promise you in the future we will come back. Now we don’t come back, but we will come back, step by step.” Nabi told IDiski Times following his side’s Nedbank Cup victory.
“They are very good players and we feel that those are the present and future of the club and we just need to add some ingredients but we feel that the sauce that we are cooking is coming along.
“Thank you very much for the support, we work seriously. If we have some problem, I’ll be honest with you, I will give some work. Thank you and come more to support Kaizer Chiefs. Honestly, I love you too much.”
