Kaizer Chiefs: Big injury update
At least three Kaizer Chiefs players, including the team’s new striker, have been ruled out of Amakhosi’s next game.

Kaizer Chiefs did just enough to claim a hard-fought win over Stellenbosch FC in their Nedbank Cup quarter-final this past weekend, but the games continue to come in thick and fast.
On Wednesday Chiefs will host Cape Town City in the Betway Premiership in what really is a must-win match as they look to avoid falling down into the bottom half of the league table.
Ahead of this match, it has been confirmed that new striker Tashreeq Morris is still on the sidelines for a little bit longer due to injury, while Samkelo Zwane and Happy Mashiane have also been ruled out, with Rushwin Dortley a doubt.
“Zwane is 100% out for the game, Morris is probably gonna need three more weeks to come back, SO out for this game too. Happy is also out,” coach Nasreddine Nabi stated, as quoted by iDiski Times.
“We will be assessing in the these next two days, Dortley where he is at. And (Makabi) Lilepo has had some discomfort and will be looking at him today.
“Ox (Sibongiseni Mthethwa) can probably do some minutes but he’s not fully fit.”
Kaizer Chiefs have a good idea of next Nedbank Cup opponent
Following the latest draw, Amakhosi are expected to face Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals, with the league champions strong favourites to defeat Sekhukhune United and progress to the final four.
