RUMOURS: Kaizer Chiefs begin talks for ambitious midfield signing
Could a deal be done?

Kaizer Chiefs are being relentless in their pursuit of attacking midfielder Feisal Salum. Here’s the latest on the Tanzanian star.
Chiefs kick off talks with Salum
According to the Citizen, Chiefs bosses have started discussions with Azam FC to sign their star 27-year-old midfield schemer Feisal Salum.
“Informal talks between Chiefs and Azam have already started, but as you know, until an offer has been submitted, there’ll be denials all over,” a source told the outlet. “But what I can tell you is that talks have indeed started,” the source added.
“Football is business, Azam may say now that they’re not willing to sell, but they know that they’ll have to sell if the player doesn’t want to renew his contract. They won’t want to risk losing him for free,” he concluded.

Petersen suspended, Ben Youssef absent from Kaizer Chiefs dugout
Amazingly, Chiefs assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef has picked up four bookings this season so he’ll not be in the dugout for their clash with the Citizens. Second choice keeper Brandon Petersen was dismissed against Stellenbosch in a recent encounter so he’s also suspended.
Zwane and Morris ruled out of clash with the Citizens
Samkelo Zwane and Tashreeq Morris will play no part against City. That match is scheduled for Wednesday 12 March at 19:30 at FNB Stadium.
“[Wandile] Duba had his first training with the squad last week. Zwane is 100 percent out, completely out for the [CT City] game. Morris is probably going to take him three more weeks to come back, so he is out for this game, too.”

Will Chiefs beat City to claim a crucial three points?
