Kaizer Chiefs fans will not be pleased by this decision given that he is a fan-favourite.

Kaizer Chiefs will be releasing several players in the next transfer window.

So, R22-million worth of foreign-based Amakhosi stars are set to leave Naturena. Meanwhile, this R9-million fan-favourite faces a likely exit at the end of the season.

CHIEFS FAN-FAVOURITE SET TO BE RELEASED

Nkonsingiphile Ngcobo is no doubt one of the most talented players in the PSL.

Furthermore, he is an Amakhosi fan-favourite. However, neither of these factors matters to head coach, Nasreddine Nabi. This is because Nabi and the current Amakhosi technical team do not see Ngcobo in their future plans.

“There is no doubt he is a talented midfielder but he is not what the coach is looking for. He is believed to be a bit slow from what the coach prefers. Sp they want to give him a chance to play at a team where his talent and way of playing will be appreciated. That’s why they looking to loan him,” the insider stated on SoccerLaduma.

So, Ngcobo will likely be loaned out in the next transfer window.

LIKELY DEPARTURES LINED UP

Chiefs have decided that they will be releasing this R12-million player at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi are likely to part ways with Edmilson Dove and Christian Saile. Dove recently returned to Naturena following a long-term spell on the sidelines. Whilst, Saile has been loaned out to PSL rivals, SuperSport United. Now, both men face likely permanent exits as Chiefs strive to free up space for future signings. Namely, international/foreign-based signings

Ultimately, Amakhosi management want to bring in a couple of international signings in the next transfer window. Therefore, at least one of their foreign-based stars will have to make way.
