Ex-Kaizer Chiefs target set to sign for PSL rivals imminently!
A former Kaizer Chiefs target is set to return to the country on the weekend and officially sign for a PSL rival for the rest of the season.

A former Kaizer Chiefs target is close to signing for a Betway Premiership side after landing in South Africa.
Chiefs were reported to be heavily interested in signing former Bafana Bafana international Thulani Serero a year or two ago.
The 34-year-old was available as a free agent at the time, before deciding against a return to South Africa. But in the end, he opted to sign for a club in the United Arab Emirates, staying put in familiar surroundings. This after leaving Al Jazira for Khor Fakkan. Now after a short stint at his last side, Serero has seemingly decided to come home. He will not be doing so at Chiefs, however, with Cape Town City tipped to be his next club imminently.
Chiefs were linked to Serero
The former Ajax Amsterdam star returned to the country last week and began training with City. That raised speculation on whether he was training to keep fit or with a view to signing. Now as per iDiski Times, Mushin Ertugral has let the cat out of the bag. Serero is set to sign for the Cape Town side imminently!
“He’s (Serero) going back to Emirates, quick as possible but ja, he is a solution for us, definitely, but not against Pirates. So, he needs to get his family sorted out, bring them back. Then probably, he’s going to Emirates tomorrow and come back on the weekend, and then obviously the next game against AmaZulu, probably ready.” Said Ertugral.
Now set to sign for Cape Town City
Although Chiefs were interested once a upon a time, it had been a while since their last link to Serero. Amakhosi did go on to make a midfield signing, however, with the addition of Thabo Cele.
