Chippa United sign duo from Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize’s Royal AM

Struggling Chippa United have bolstered their squad after signing two players from Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize’s Royal AM outfit.

According to the Chilli Boys’ Twitter page, midfielder Siphelele Luthuli and defender Ronald Pfumbidzai have swapped KwaZulu-Natal for Gqeberha.

The pair will hopefully bring with them good fortune for a Chippa United side which finds themselves in 12th place in the 16-team log with just 16 points after 17 matches.

Chippa United face a daunting next DStv Premiership match

They are only three points ahead of bottom place side TS Galaxy.

Chippa United will next be in action in a Nedbank Cup Round of 32 match away to the University of Pretoria on Friday, 4 February at 15:00.

Their next league assignment is a daunting one away to log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday, 16 February at 17:00.
