Cassius Mailula will earn in the region of R300k per month when he puts pen to paper on his deal with Toronto FC. There he’ll feature alongside Italian Euro 2020 winners Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi.

Mailula off to the MLS

According to a statement from Sundowns, Mailula is on the brink of moving to an unnamed club in North America. Mailula bagged 15 goals and four assists in 31 games last term, particularly impressing in the absence of regular striker Peter Shalile.

“𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐢 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐚’𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛,” Sundowns reported.

“Mamelodi Sundowns has been in discussions with a North American football club that expressed interest in acquiring the services of Cassius Mailula,” the champions added.
