WATCH | Arthur Zwane on Nkosingiphile Ngcobo: ‘People haven’t seen his best’

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane says Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is yet to reach his full potential due to the challenges he’s been facing.

‘10111’ and Ngcobo started working together in the club’s development structures before the 22-year-old was promoted to the first team in 2017.

Zwane believes Ngcobo can do better than what people have seen since he joined the first team squad.

ZWANE ON NGCOBO – ‘HE’S A SPECIAL TALENT’

“You will notice, if you’ve been following us from the development, how we were using ‘Mshini’ [Nkosingiphile Ngcobo],” Zwane said at the Kaizer Chiefs Media Open Day.

“Yes he had challenges here and there… he got to a situation where he lost his father, except for that you know he was at some point low in confidence and injuries here and there.

“But we know that ‘Mshini’ is a special talent, there is no doubt about it and yes one thing for sure, a fully fit ‘Mshini’ without off-the-field challenges like any other individual, he’ll always give you something special.

“And I think people haven’t seen him yet especially in the first team because he is a special talent and I can tell you now once he gets into that level where we expect him to be, you’ll see that he is a special player for us.

“So, there is no doubt that we will always try to help him to reach his full potential as an individual.”
