    I still get a kick out of how much effort the Trump supporters put into trying to justify Trump's mental illness, delusions, and lies. While in the meantime he has brought our government to a stand still, embarrassed us in front of the rest of the world, and exposed the conservative/Republican/Tea Party/White Supremacists in congress as corrupt lying fools.

    Again you are wrong.

    The President unilaterally cannot order a wiretap or surveillance of an American citizen.

    There has to be probable cause, a court would need to issue an order, and the law enforcement agency would carry out the order. If there is none of that, the President and law enforcement agency would have committed a felony.

      Obama stated he ordered the investigation of Russian hacking of the DNC computers.
      He said that. It's public record.
      The conclusion of the investigation was that the Russians did hack the DNC. No question. It's public record.
      The conclusion was that Trump was not involved. It's public record.
      Now how could they have concluded all this without surveilling Trump?
      Shooter is not wrong.

    It sure didn't take 100 days for Trump to turn himself into a literal laughingstock that is being openly mocked on TV for doubling down on his insane lies in a Time Magazine interview.

    President Dipshit never tweets about incidents of racist attacks.

    Police: White sword killer went to NY to attack black people

    NEW YORK (AP) — A white U.S. Army veteran from Baltimore bent on making a racist attack took a bus to New York, the "media capital of the world," randomly picked out a black man who was collecting bottles on the street and killed him with a sword, police said Wednesday.

    Oh fuck the one thing Trump bragged about more than anything else was he was a great negotiator and deal maker.

    And now that lie is also going down in flames along with the GOP healthcare bill.

    Trump met with members of congress multiple times in the past two days and the more he met with them and the more he threatened them the more votes he lost.

    For all those that bitched, bitched, and bitched about President Obama travels and cost to taxpayers, this will put things into perspective.

    The Secret Service Won’t Get $60 Million More to Protect the Trumps

    Nearly half of the additional money that was sought in the fiscal 2018 budget request – or $26.8 million – was to be used to pay to protect Trump’s family and private home in New York’s Trump Tower. The remaining $33 million was for security related to travel incurred by “the president, vice president and other visiting heads of state.”

    First lady Melania Trump and her young son, Barron, live in the family’s three-floor Manhattan penthouse, while Trump largely divides his time between the White House during the week and his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on weekends. Trump flew to Mar-a-Lago last Friday for his fifth post-inauguration weekend trip, just a day after OMB issued a federal budget proposal for the coming year seeking $54 billion in cuts in many government programs and agencies to offset the cost of a major military buildup.

    The government spent an estimated $10 million on Trump’s first three trips to Mar-a-Lago in late January and February, according to a recent investigation by The Washington Post. At that rate, travel and security for Trump and his family could run up hundreds of millions in costs by the end of his term.

    Trump’s adult sons, Eric and Donald Jr., travel extensively overseas in running the family business and they receive round-the-clock Secret Service protection. Eric Trump’s trip to Uruguay in January to check on the progress of a Trump hotel reportedly cost taxpayers nearly $98,000 for agents’ hotel rooms.

    At the same time, Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, and her husband, Jared Kushner, serve as senior advisers to the president, and they and their children are also afforded Secret Service protection.

    Ironically, Trump more than once criticized the cost of President Obama’s travel, saying it was “unbelievable” that Obama’s trips were “costing taxpayers millions of dollars.”

    He vowed during the campaign to save the public money by working tirelessly in Washington and skipping extraneous or overly expensive trips. Since then, First Family travel and leisure has been taxing Secret Service resources. And that, over time, could degrade the quality of protection for the commander in chief.

    The poll numbers just keep getting worse and worse for Trump and the latest ones are truly terrible because the latest decline is with his corp supporters; Republicans and Whites.

    New poll shows Trump slipping further, even among Republicans

      Trump is like a pitch man for patent medicine. During the campaign he talked about serious problems, but he did not have any solutions other than to say, "Trust me. I can fix them."

      Patent medicine consisted largely of grain alcohol and cocaine. Initially it made people with serious medical problems feel good. Later on they had hangovers and realized that their medical problems had gotten worse.

      Trump's white blue collar supporters are gradually becoming aware that Trump will not bring back well paying factory jobs, and that he does not really want to. Keep in mind that Trump said most Americans are paid too well.

      Most people who voted for Trump were voting against Clinton.
      You people keep trying to make it more than that.

      We kept a corrupt robber out of the White House.
      We are tired of dealing with robbers.

      And this is just a rant from a determined Democrat to give not one fucking inch to Trump and not tolerate anyone not standing shoulder to shoulder with him.

      But thanks.

    Here's the actual Quinnipiac University poll and it is brutal for Trump.

    March 22, 2017 - Base Erodes As Trump Drops To New Low Scores, Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; Voters Say 60 - 35 Percent President Is Not Honest

    [IMG]
    PDF format

    President Donald Trump is losing support among Republicans, white voters and men, leaving him with a negative 37 - 56 percent job approval rating from American voters, his worst score ever, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today.

    Today's job approval rating compares to a negative 41 - 52 percent approval rating in a March 7 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University.

    President Trump is losing support among key elements of his base:
    • Men disapprove 43 - 52 percent, compared to a 49 - 45 percent approval March 7;
    • Republicans approve 81 - 14 percent, compared to 91 - 5 percent two weeks ago;
    • White voters disapprove 44 - 50 percent, compared to a narrow 49 - 45 percent approval March 7.
    Disapproval is 60 - 31 percent among women, 90 - 6 percent among Democrats, 60 - 31 percent among independent voters and 75 - 16 percent among non-white voters.

    American voters' opinions of some of Trump's personal qualities hit new lows:
    • 60 - 35 percent that he is not honest, compared to 55 - 39 not honest March 7;
    • 55 - 40 percent that he does not have good leadership skills;
    • 57 - 40 percent that he does not care about average Americans;
    • 66 - 30 percent that he is not level-headed;
    • 66 - 30 percent that he is a strong person;
    • 59 - 36 percent that he is intelligent;
    • 61 - 35 percent that he does not share their values.
    "Although taking a beating, he keeps on tweeting to the point where even his fiercely loyal base appears to be eroding," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

    "Most alarming for President Donald Trump, the demographic underpinnings of his support, Republicans, white voters, especially men and those without a college degree, are starting to have doubts."

    A total of 73 percent of American voters say President Trump and his Administration make statements without evidence to support them "very often" or "somewhat often."

    Only 25 percent of American voters say Trump is more honest than most of the previous presidents, while 48 percent say he is less honest and 24 percent say he is about as honest.

    Trump is even with the media, but lower than the courts and intelligence agencies, in winning American voters' trust:
    • A total of 34 percent of voters say they can trust Trump to do what is right "almost all of the time" or "most of the time;"
    • A total of 52 percent of voters say they can trust the courts to do what is right "almost all of the time" or "most of the time;"
    • A total of 51 percent of voters say they can trust U.S. intelligence agencies to do what is right "almost all of the time" or "most of the time;"
    • A total of 34 percent of voters say they can trust the media to do what is right "almost all of the time" or "most of the time."
    Voters give Trump a negative 36 - 57 percent favorability rating, his lowest net score since he was elected.

    Trump gets a negative 42 - 48 percent approval rating for the way he is handling the economy, down from a 49 - 41 percent positive score March 7. Opinions on other issues are:
    • Disapprove 58 - 34 percent of the way he is handling foreign policy;
    • Disapprove 50 - 42 percent of the way he is handling terrorism;
    • Disapprove 54 - 34 percent of the way he is handling the federal budget;
    • Disapprove 60 - 38 percent of the way he is handling immigration issues.
    Wiretapping Trump Tower

    American voters do not believe 70 - 19 percent that former President Barack Obama had Trump Tower wiretapped during the 2016 presidential election. Republicans are divided as 41 percent believe it and 39 percent don't believe it. Every other party, gender, age, education and racial group listed disbelieves this claim by wide margins.

    Trump "truly believes" the wiretapping claim, 48 percent of voters say, while 42 percent say he does not believe it.

    From March 16 - 21, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,056 voters nationwide with a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points. Live interviewers call landlines and cell phones.

    The Quinnipiac University Poll, directed by Douglas Schwartz, Ph.D., conducts public opinion surveys in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Iowa, Colorado and the nation as a public service and for research.

    Based on a limited and imperfect data set, and his worldly achievements, Trump’s I.Q. can be estimated to fall in the 140-154 range.

    Stupid, Trump is not, he beat 19 other ''genius's'', perhaps it's your own system of gauging one's intelligence is flawed.

    I find it odd and curious, and a bit suspect that Obama's I.Q. has not yet been published, maybe it also, has been hidden from the public like his college transcripts.

    Maybe Chris Matthews has his I.Q. rating.

    All this ranting!

    What's the point, after all? It doesn't change what happened now, does it?

    First, Trump beat out 19 other candidates for the nomination. He beat out career politicians, people who are very smart and well respected in their fields. He beat them out all while spewing the most outrageous politically incorrect things imaginable. He beat them out with no help from the Republican party.

    Whatever else one says about Trump, one cannot say Trump is stupid.

    Second, he won the election. The pundits said he would loose. The political experts said he would loose. The Clinton supporters were so sure, so arrogantly sure, he would loose they were celebrating and strutting about before the polls even opened. Trump won with his mouth and his attitude and that, more than anything, confounds the unsupporters.

    "How the hell" they ask, "Did this pompous gas bag, win?"

    They will never rest until he is dethroned. They will never rest until Hillary marches into the oval office and tosses that pompous, sexist, racist, bigoted gas bag onto his knees and rides him out of the White house like the bastard Mule that he is. Their cause is just, their opponent evil, and they are the soldiers of Freedom and the AMERICAN WAY!! (cue patriotic music).

    Bring it on, unsupporters. We are the wide swath of beer drinking, gun toting, truck driving, genetically ambiguous, Red Neck Americans and WE put Trump in the oval office. WE denied your robber Hillary's victory. We did that knowing what Trump is, we did that knowing that left with only two choices, Trump was the only choice.

    We were going about our daily lives, quietly. We frowned when we heard San Francisco arrogantly declare itself a sanctuary city. We tried to laugh when our President stood before the nation and declared that hence forth, sexual preference was government business and bathrooms were no longer a sanctuary based on whether one stood or squatted.

    We paused when Trump called a loud mouth bitch a FAT loud mouth bitch. When Trevor Martin died and the President stood before the nation and said "he could be my son" we asked ourselves "The hell did he mean by that?" When riots again burned cities and Government smugly stood by as if to say "This is what you get" we were angered. We were worried about a national debt of $20 TRILLION when no one else seemed to give a shit except Trump. How, we wondered, could the government be so dammed irresponsible when we had to live with a budget and deny ourselves little luxuries. We saw our health benefits in turmoil, premiums and deductibles going up and what do you mean, you can't be my doctor anymore, they PROMISED?

    But, we had jobs, and lawns to mow, and soccer games to attend and bills to pay. We expected that eventually things would sort out as they always have and we'd end up with a good President, one who would lead us out of this quagmire. One who would restore balance.

    And then Hillary stood before the nation, and she smugly declared that Trump supporters were "deplorable". A Trump supporter, she said, is a sexist, homophobic, racist ............. whatever term one could think of ............deplorable. And she was cheered. And that was the last straw. Things have gotten to a pretty pass when a candidate who so arrogantly thinks she has already won, can attack not a candidate, not the opposing party, but anyone who is not a supporter. And without any justification at all, call them a racist, and a sexist, and a homophobe and "Deplorable".

    So we voted against Hillary and put a pompous gas bag in the oval office. CAN YOU HEAR US NOW? We asked? And we went back to our jobs and families and lives.

    And now we see "Patriots" burning our cities again. We hear daily attacks on our President about his LIES, his instability, his mongrel way of eating steak, how he is only a puppet for the EVIL ENEMY RUSSIANS. How the butt hurt unsupporters have pledged that whatever it takes, whatever must be done, this president will be tossed out (and our heroine put in his place).

    Well bring it on. Insult our President. Whatever he does find fault with it. Compare him to Hitler. Rejoice when he fails to achieve a goal on time. Froth at every tweet. Answer your surveys. Shout that Trump is a mistake that must be corrected. Spew your hate.

    If you really want to defeat Trump do it in four years. Until then, your goal would be best served if you did some introspection and asked yourselves;

    "What the hell did we do to deserve this?"

    Trumpcare goes down in flames. And it could not be a bigger political disaster for the "Closer." He resorted to threatening and bluffing for the past two days and even issued an ultimatum demanding an up and down vote. And instead Paul Ryan went to him and told him there was no way and he was pulling the bill from a floor vote. But if its any consolation we can make it look like its your idea.

    But after seven years of swimwear they were going to repeal and replace :Obamacare" now that they control congress and the White House they couldn't even get their own party to vote for it.

    And now I am literally laughing at Paul Ryan whining and crying and trying to make up excuses.

    Donald Trump Claims Credit for Creating 20,000 Jobs—That Were Actually Promised in 2015

    The White House today took credit for 20,000 new American jobs that were actually created in 2015, as part of assurances made to an Obama-appointed FCC chair to help pass a big money merger.

    Charter Communications first announced the commitment to insourced jobs in an August 2015 SEC filing, three months after their $56.7 billion purchase of Time Warner Cable.
