11 goals in 12 matches: Orlando Pirates to sign NFD striker?

Khanyi, 25, first caught the Buccaneers‘ attention during last season’s Nedbank Cup last-16 game against Orlando Pirates.
PSL TRANSFER NEWS: ORLANDO PIRATES TO SIGN HUNGRY LIONS STAR?
Formerly an under 20 international and Bidvest Wits academy star, Khanyi scored three goals in Hungry Lions’ 3-2 win over Leruma United in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last weekend. The hat-trick took his tally to 11 goals in 12 matches and duly motivated Orlando Pirates to pursue him.
“Interest is growing for Muzomuhle Khanyi’s services, and an offer could made for him in January,” a source told Soccer Laduma.
“The player’s impressive performances and workrate have caught the attention of a number of clubs, and I can confirm that Pirates are leading the race for his services.
“Sekhukhune United are still also interested in the player, as well as several other clubs. He is the top goalscorer in the Motsepe Foundation Championship League with 11 goals in the 2024/25 season.”

SuperSport United’s former coach, Kaitano Tembo, had Maswanganyi on trial for several months before leaving the club without making a decision on the player. Gavin Hunt returned to the club, saw Maswanganyi and urgently asked management to sign him. – READ THE FULL STORY HERE.
