Orlando Pirates FC will be traveling into Africa later this week as they begin their 2023/24 CAF Champions League campaign
Orlando Pirates begin their CAF Champions League expedition later this week!
The Buccaneers will be heading to the island of Comoros to face Djabal FC in their opening qualification match at Moroni Stadium.
Before that however, the Buccaneers host Chippa United on Tuesday night at the Orlando Stadium.

Orlando Pirates to travel to Moroni Stadium
The Buccaneers play the first leg of their clash against Djabal FC on Saturday afternoon at the Moroni Stadium in Comoros.
In other news, Recently axed Orlando Pirates midfielder Collins Makgaka is edging closer to securing a new club!
The highly talented midfielder maestro is reportedly drawing interest from two top flight teams.
According to the latest reports, Makgaka is currently on trial at AmaZulu however Polokwane City are also interested in signing the 27-year-old.
Makgaka made his debut for Baroka back in 2015 and has already racked up 85 top flight appearances.

“He is a good player and he will definitely fit in well with the club (Polokwane City). Another thing is that he comes from a big team and has experience. So, he will add value to the club. It’s unfortunate that things didn’t go well for him at Pirates, but he is talented.” an insider told Citizen.
The former Orlando Pirates man was previously training with Stellenbosch however reports suggest the Cape outfit opted against signing him.
