AFCON latest: Meet the 16 PSL players selected for the tournament

The tournament will kick off on Sunday, 9 January and conclude four weeks later on Sunday, 6 February.
After all 24 squads were confirmed, a look below at the PSL players who have been selected by their national teams to do duty.

Malawi boast the most DStv Premiership players in their squad with three. The Flames have included Orlando Pirates’ Gabadinho Mhango, AmaZulu’s Limbikani Mzava and Richard Mbulu from Baroka FC, as well as Polokwane City duo Khuda Muyaba and Dennis Chembezi.
Zimbabwe have selected Onismor Bhasera and Kudakwashe Mahachi from SuperSport United, as well as Ishmael Wadi and Talbert Shumba from GladAfrica Championship clubs JDR Stars and Free State Stars, respectively. Gerald Takwara and Godknows Murirwa of Venda Football Academy have also been included in the squad.
Ivory Coast have selected JDR Stars goalkeeper Badra Ali Sangare in their squad.
Nigeria have Kaizer Chiefs’ only AFCON player
Nigeria have Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi in their squad, while the Super Eagles have also included Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah.
Gambia have included Black Leopards goalkeeper Modou Jobe in their squad, while Gabon have selected Uthongathi shot-stopper Jean-Noel Amonome in their side.
