BREAKING: URC result: Stormers do Mzansi proud, beat Edinburgh to reach semi-finals

The Stormers will host an United Rugby Championship (URC) semi-final next weekend after beating Edinburgh in their quarter-final on Saturday.

The Cape side won 28-17 at the Cape Town Stadium in front of a fanatical crowd, in freezing conditions.

The Stormers will host Ulster in the last-four, while Leinster will welcome the Bulls to Dublin in the other semi-final.

In Saturday’s other matches the Bulls beat the Sharks 30-27 in Pretoria, while Leinster annihilated Glasgow Warriors 76-14.

On Friday, Ulster beat Munster 36-17.

An all-South African final remains a possibility.
