Rassie Erasmus has named his 37-man Springboks squad to take on New Zealand.

The Springboks welcome back the likes of Steven Kitshoff, Jaden Hendrikse and Canan Moodie from injury. Meanwhile, Faf de Klerk joins the list of SIX Springboks ruled out of The Rugby Championship.

Surprisingly, Nicolaas Janse van Rensberg was included. Therefore, injuries to Franco Mostert, Lood de Jager and Jean Kleyn have opening the door to the potential Bok debutant.

RASSIE WELCOMES BACK RUGBY WORLD CUP WINNERS

The Springboks take on the All Blacks in back-to-back test matches in South Africa. This is the first time since going ‘Bok-to-Bok’ in France. When they beat the All Blacks 12-11 in the Rugby World Cup final.

As mentioned, Kitshoff, Hendrikse and Moodie return to the squad.

Meanwhile, Andre Esterhuizen and Jasper Wiese are both in the mix. Unfortunately, Faf is the latest player added to the Springboks injury list.

“Erasmus has also recalled Jasper Wiese (No 8), Andre Esterhuizen (centre) – both RWC winners in 2023 – and Nicolaas Janse van Rensburg (lock) when the 37-man squad assemble in Johannesburg on Thursday,” the statement from SA Rugby read.
