Key Takeaways
- One of our favorite sparkling water brands is releasing three first-of-their-kind flavors just in time for summer sipping.
- The brand collaborated with celebrity chef Guy Fieri and his Flavortown line, to introduce unique spins on seltzer for a limited time.
When you want something bubbly to drink that’s not sugary soda (and it's not the right time for Champagne), flavored sparkling water is a popular choice to reach for. These alternatives to soda are often made with natural flavors or real fruit juice and contain little or no sugar. Because of the bubbles and the flavor, these sparkling waters can be more enjoyable than plain water, and the good news is that they’re just as hydrating.
Walk down the water aisle of any grocery store, and you’ll find many brands, such as Topo Chico, LaCroix, Spindrift, Liquid Death, and more. One in particular we love to reach for is Waterloo. Not only does this option tend to be priced a little less than some of its competitors, but Waterloo has unique flavors that keep us coming back.
Now, Waterloo Sparkling Water is expanding its lineup in collaboration with a celebrity chef who knows all about big, bold tastes: Guy Fieri. Together, they’re launching three limited-edition seltzers that put the flavor in Flavortown.
Waterloo and Guy Fieri’s New Sparkling Water Flavors
Fieri has named his line of food products—like his frozen meals—after Flavortown, a term that started as his catchphrase. Flavortown and Waterloo have launched three refreshing sparkling waters inspired by Fieri’s personal adventures on an East Coast beach, in the Pacific Northwest, and in Mexico. And we don't know which to try first:
- Lemon Italian Ice: Lemony tart and sweet, with notes of fresh, citrusy sweetness and a zesty lemon kick in a nostalgic tribute to the iconic beachside treat.
- Huckleberry Cobbler: Wild berries and comforting spice, woven together with bright sweetness, tart Huckleberry bursts, and rich streusel flavors.
- Spiced Mango Sorbet: A refreshing blend reminiscent of a traditional Mexican dessert, which balances the tropical sweetness of mango with zesty lime and a touch of savory spice.
All three flavors are sugar and sweetener-free, calorie-free, and made with Non-GMO Project Verified natural flavors and purified carbonated water.
"This is a dream come true for the @waterloosparkling faithful!" one fan said on the collaborative Instagram post between Waterloo and Fieri. Another fan who already tried all three flavors said, "They are amazing."
The limited-time Waterloo flavors are available at retailers nationwide, and rumor has it they'll be coming to Aldi in July. Looks like it will be easy to find these refreshing sparkling waters, but you won’t be able to find them forever, so grab them while you can.
