Sean Everitt took over from former Springbok scrumhalf Robert du Preez in 2019.
Under Everitt’s guidance, the Sharks have re-established themselves as a dominant force in South African rugby over the past two seasons.
“We are delighted to announce that Sharks head coach Sean Everitt has put pen to paper on a contract extension that will run until 2024,” Sean Everitt’s agency, International Player Management, said on their official Instagram page.

Meanwhile, the Sharks also announced the signing of Springbok Rugby World Cup-winning hooker Bongi Mbonambi from the Stormers on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old will rejoin his former Stormers team-mate Siya Kolisi at the KwaZulu-Natal union on 1 November, 2021.
