World Rugby Sevens standings AFTER Cape Town Sevens

Samoa were crowned Cape Town Sevens champions on Sunday after they upset New Zealand in the final at the Cape Town Stadium.

Samoa won 12-7 in wet conditions.

The win helped Samoa go top in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series log, alongside South Africa.

The Cape Town Sevens was the third of 11 rounds scheduled for the 2022/23 season.
