Blitzboks beat All Blacks at Sydney Sevens, face Ireland in quarter-finals

The Springbok Sevens team beat New Zealand to finish top of Pool B at the Sydney Sevens on Saturday.

The Blitzboks won 17-14 after the sides were deadlocked at 7-7 at half-time.

Earlier in in the day the Blitzboks beat Uruguay 28-12 having thrashed Kenya 31-5 on Friday.

The Blitzboks will now face Ireland in the Cup quarter-finals at 11:05 (SA time) on Saturday.
