Siya mentioned there’s a television screen set up in the Springbok hotel courtesy of one of their sponsors. They watch the screen every day and draw massive inspiration from all the messages of support they receive. The sponsor in question is FNB Bank and they’ve been running the #BoksNeedYou campaign from before the 2023 Rugby World Cup kicked off.

You’d be forgiven for not really taking notice of the FNB #BoksNeedYou campaign, during all the drama in this year’s competition. However, now that they’re through to the final, we should all don our Green and Gold and send a message to the Boks.
ONE WHATSAPP AWAY
To send a message to the Boks that will be relayed to them in their hotel, simply send a WhatsApp to 061 522 6553. Go on, do it, that one message could be the difference between the two sides! Just keep it clean, though, because FNB’s terms and conditions state your video message may be rebroadcast and aired publicly.
